Save the Dates for Ebola Seminar – October 28-30, 2014!

MSH has developed a response to this crisis based on what we know how to do well: strengthen Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response systems, both in affected countries, but especially in unaffected countries; using trained medical stores to distribute high quality medications at the community level, including community care kits for home care of Ebola patients, and help re-start essential services; and adaptation of a previously developed Pandemic Preparedness and Response Manual from avian influenza to a Framework for Ebola Response and Recovery at the Local Level.

The twin objectives of this LeaderNet Seminar are:

  1. To provide a broad overview of the current West African Ebola outbreak, identify trends, and specific interventions that are needed;
  2. To show specific MSH technical approaches that can help countries prepare for and respond to any Ebola outbreak, and the role that MSH staff can play in supporting the countries in which we serve.

Please join us for this conversation October 28-30. Join the seminar in advance.
