The LeaderNet Year in Review

Happy New Year from the MSH LeaderNet team! Thank you for contributing to a year full of learning on LeaderNet. As we took time to pause and reflect over the winter holidays, we were reminded of how much we have learned and accomplished together with you over the last year. We gained many new members and are now a community of 3,960 members from over 150 pays- welcome to all who joined us in 2017!

The health landscape that we face today is complex. Emerging global health threats, new and innovative health technologies, and changing forms of communication and social interaction require us to consistently re-evaluate how we seek, gain, and share knowledge. LeaderNet, as a learning platform made up of its members, remains committed to bringing high-quality and varied seminars, cours, and resources directly into the hands of global public health implementers and leaders.

As we enter 2018, we look forward to your participation and presence on the LeaderNet site, whether to attend a seminar, take a course, or explore our electronic library. In the new year, what do you hope we will address on LeaderNet? Let us know in the comments below!

Scroll down to see some of the work we are most excited about from the last year.

Sustainable Health Networks Seminar

In May, LeaderNet held a Sustainable Health Networks Seminar, where participants and moderators explored the nature and dynamics of social and professional networks and discussed creative ways to promote synergies among network members to overcome challenges.

Gouverner pour bien Séminaire

Ce qui peut être fait au niveau de la communauté ou de l'établissement, au quartier, niveaux régional ou national ou même au niveau des donateurs internationaux qui amélioreront la gouvernance? Participants reflected on strategies to improve good governance, including a rich discussion on stakeholder engagement.

Leveraging Infectious Disease Programs to Address NCDs Seminar

In December, we hosted a webinar and LeaderNet seminar which explored approaches to integrating services for NCDs into HIV, TB, and Malaria control programming globally. The seminar has three video case studies, which are still available on the seminar page!

eLearning Courses from the Grants Management Solutions Project (GMS)

LeaderNet now hosts asynchronous, self-paced eLearning courses to address governance and management for grants from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, la tuberculose, and Malaria, and were created for technical support providers. Courses are available in English and French.

Blogues

We started 2017 by completing our ABCs for Managers Who Lead series on our blog. Nous followed up with 16 équipes who completed the anglais pour Leadership Development Program (LDP) in Madagascar and heard about improvements in their health indicators as a result of their team’s work. Enfin, Sylvia Vriesendorp shared her insights on the relationship between the Challenge Model and neuroscience, and provided some background on how the techniques used in the challenge model positively impact brain activity.

In addition to these highlights, we have many other eLearning courses available now on LeaderNet. Visit the courses page to learn more!

L'incroyable puissance restante du LDP au Népal

Have you ever wondered what happens after a project activity ends?
